With this program, a cookie (see section 4) is placed on your computer if you reach our website through a Google advertisement. The cookies are only valid for 30 days and do not enable personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of an Adword customer’s website and the cookie has not expired, Google and the customer can see that the user clicked on an advertisement and was directed to the website. Every Adwords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked through the website of an Adwords customer. The information collected with the help of Conversion cookies helps to create Conversion statistics for Adwords customers who have agreed to Conversion tracking. The Adwords customer is informed of the overall number of users who have clicked their advertisement and been directed to a site equipped with a Conversion Tracking tag. But the customer does not receive any data that would allow it to personally identify the user.
